Bali Trip

Had tons of fun in Bali :) So, here's our power-packed 3 day 4 night itinerary:
Uluwatu trip to see some temple, the sunset and the Kachek and Fire Dance. Sarongs are provided for pple whose knees aren't covered because it's a sacred place :P

Surfing @ Kuta - surfing is the ULTIMATE FUN!!! and ultimate tiredness ..

Whitewater rafting @ Ayung River - haha, quite unglam with the helmet and all. But very very fun too ...

The many many hours we spent on the Bali roads transferring from place to place. I was terrified of the way they drive .. no regard for lanes whatsoever.

The many times we explored the hotel .. it is HUGE. By the way, Ayodya Palace (formerly Hilton International) is the bestest place to stay in ... Service is excellent!!!! The receptionists and waiters know their guests on a name basis .. Each and everyone of them!! They also bring tea (cakes, cookies, sandwiches, drinks) to you if you're lazing by the swimming pool. OOooooo, I was so sad to leave.

Heh, we were really lucky to be staying there when Mittal hosted some wedding @ the Ayodya Palace because we had a free display of beautiful fireworks!! Had a really good view from our balcony ... This Indian steel tycoon, rated #5 in the world, flew in 1000 guests from all over the world, and put them all up at the Ayodya Resort Bali; had a personal display of fireworks which was so beautiful and long; had this makeshift stage on the hills with the dinner tables; cordoned off the area to the lobby so that his guests could exclusively arrive .. Must have cost a bomb. Saw this lady get out from her "DK 1" car .. with huge hair. Probably some bigshot first lady or something .. lol.

Dinner in the quiet town of Sanur:

Odessey submarine dive:

Lycra Man's Bday!! Happy 23th :) Cake was courtesy of the hotel:
